Today we start with the super easy challenge of straw rockets, and its great fun! Try it today or tomorrow with your students.

You will find an animated challenge or class learning idea behind every window until the end of term.

The Challenge - Create a Straw Rocket that flies the furthest distance.
Rules - Your Straw Rocket must be launched at a height of 1.2m (this is roughly the height of a student holding the straw knelt down with their elbows on a standard table).
- Use the Karismath video about height and measurement from challenge 1.
Score points - measure the distance your rocket flies from launch to the nose of the rocket after landing -1 point per centimetre.
